Equal parts distilled water and rubbing alcohol – Mix in a clean spray bottle and spray on a clean cotton or microfiber cloth to wipe down your laptop/computer screen, keyboard, or mouse. You can even use this solution to clean your eyeglasses.

Make sure you only use distilled water, as regular tap and bottled water contain chemicals and minerals that could leave a build-up on your electronic surfaces. Also, avoid using paper towels or toilet paper as the fibers can scratch those very delicate surfaces. Finally, always read manufacturer’s instructions and recommendations. Certain companies advise against the use of alcohol-based cleaners for their products, and using them could void your product warranty.
