What to Do if Your Kitchen Floods in Jasper or Dubois County

3. If your home is safe from electrical danger, remove as many items as possible that have come in contact with water. If something is too large or heavy to move, like a sofa or table, you can wrap the legs in plastic wrap to help prevent further damage.
4. Remove as much of the water as possible by any means available. Towels, mops,  buckets, and wet-dry vacs can assist in this process.
5. Once all the water is out of your home, the next step is to dry floors and furnishings as quickly as possible. You can open windows, turn on fans and even air conditioners to help speed up with drying time.
